Author Biography

Georgette L. Baker was born on the island of Aruba and raised in Venezuela; she has traveled widely, learned 5 languages and been producing children's bilingual books and music since the early 1970's. This book series is a documentary of her travels throughout the world. Michael Mastorakis, her son, is the young adventurer in this "We're Off.." collection. Her bilingual, Spanish/English music CD's are a collection of traditional songs and finger plays from Spanish speaking countries.
